Brecon Town Council Committees
Planning Guildhall and Staffing Committee
The Planning, Guildhall and Staffing Committee considered planning applications received by the National Park Authority and is responsible for the Guildhall and all members of staff working for Brecon Town Council.
Finance and Commissioning of Contracts Committee
The Finance and Commissioning of Contracts Committee is responsible for considering grant applications from organisations and groups and awarding where appropriate. This Committee is also responsible for commissioning contracts for services provided to Brecon Town Council.
Environment and Events Committee
The Environment and Events Committee is responsible for all the green spaces that are owned and managed by the Town Council. It is also responsible for events that are organised by Brecon Town Council, such as, Brecon With Bells On, Remembrance Sunday, the annual Gurkha Parade, the Best of Brecon Awards, and events at the bandstand.
