Mrs Fiona Williams CiLCA (WALES)
The Town Clerk is appointed by the Council under section 112 Local Government Act 1972, is the proper officer of the Council and carries out a varied role, duties of which include legal and financial guidance and record keeping; project management; research; implementation of Council’s decisions; staff management and administration. The Town Clerk is also responsible for the internal management and organisation of the Council.
Brecon’s Town Clerk, Mrs Fiona Williams, was appointed in 2014, lives in Brecon with her family, and enjoys travel, and walking in the Brecon Beacons.
